Nursing Apron

With all the new babies in the family. I thought I would sew some nursing aprons. It was really easy to do. Two pieces of fabric sewn together with a strap to go around your neck. I love the pink and brown combination. My sister doesn't even know I finished this for her, so she will be surprised to see it on my blog. Hopefully I can get it in the mail by tomorrow. So, Erica, watch for it!

Hey Amanda! Great Idea! I need one. I found a pattern at http://madebythemamamonster.blogspot.com/2008/04/nursing-cover-tutorial.html

There is a tutorial on it. This lady adds boning to the collar so that it sticks out and you can see the baby while you are nursing.

I am making one for Brenda, Ari's sister. I can't wait! I am going to make myself one too!

Someone made me one with the boning too and I LOVED it! Being able to see what you're and stay covered is so worth the time. I love that you did it with two fabrics :-) So cute!
