Last year I made these stockings for our family. I wanted something that matched, and that has a hand-made look to it. I let Denton pick out some of the buttons that I stitched onto the cuff.

I did embroider them (by hand) before I sewed the whole stocking together. It made it a lot easier to handle. I picked a homespun fabric. Thay way I can add more later if I need and not worry about finding a particular print.
