A long look at the curtain. I cut the valance out of MDF and painted black. Then I attached the curtain to a dowel and screwed it to the sides of the valance. 
Look I found a place for those fish I bought at Quilted Bear.
Here is the roof top. And this is what it must look like from Owen's point of view.
